Pressed in 2013 fermented and aged in Chestnut wood. Rich and round tannins with delicate residual sweetness and bitter finish that will please a cultured palate. France with Aval from Brittany. AVAL cider combines five types of apples exclusively from the region, giving the drink a crisp and citrusy taste. It’s the perfect balance between subtle sweetness and refreshing bitterness.Gurutzeta from the Basque region of Spain.Gurutzeta is a traditional style Sagardotegi, where the production of the cider is conducted during the apple harvest in the fall (late September-early November), and the new vintage is released during the Txotx season [pronounced ‘tcoach’] from late January through early May. During the Txotx people flock to the Sagardotegi to drink fresh ciders directly from the massive chestnut barrels, and eat traditional Basque dishes. Finally right here at home with Uncle John’s Deep Roots. A blend of apples from orchards that have been in the ground for at least 50 years, along with other Heirloom varieties.
